Getting Started with LenseAI

From upload to the final on-model image: the flow, credits and generation.

LenseAI overview

Overview

A guided flow with a step-by-step progress indicator: Select Products → Select Model → Select Poses → Select Background → Summary. You can go back to completed steps at any time. The flow works on desktop and mobile, with real-time status updates during generation.

Prerequisites

  • An active Typelense account and available credits
  • Product images in JPG, PNG or WEBP, up to 10 MB, sRGB
  • One garment per file (avoid collages), ideally on a neutral background

Step by step

  1. Product upload and analysis
    Primary upload
    • Upload: drag and drop or file picker
    • Validation: JPG, PNG or WEBP up to 10 MB
    • AI analysis: detects the garment type and category (upper, lower, dress, underwear)
    • Results: detected type and category, confidence score, text and logo detection
    Complementary garment (optional)
    • When: suggested when the primary garment implies an outfit, e.g. a top without a bottom
    • Options: upload another garment, pick one from the garment library, or skip
    • Suggestions: recommended types based on the primary category
    • Validation: the same AI checks as for the primary garment
  2. Model selection
    • Gallery: previews with name, age and gender
    • Filters: gender, age ranges (18–25, 26–35, 36–45, 46–55), hair color, ethnicity
    • Labels: pro and premium models are marked
    • Favorites: star models for quick access
    • Selection: one model per generation
  3. Pose selection
    • Poses are loaded for the selected model and shown in portrait format (9:16).
    • The first pose is preselected when you choose a model.
    • The app checks that pose and model are compatible.
  4. Background selection
    • Categories: Studio, Outdoor, Lifestyle and more
    • Preview: thumbnails with style names; premium backgrounds are marked
    • Selection: one background, with instant visual feedback
  5. Summary and generation
    Review your configuration
    • Visual summary: product(s), the selected model pose and background side by side
    • Details: model, pose, background style and the garment analysis
    • Credits: calculated in real time, 1 credit per image
    • Validation: all steps must be complete
    Start generation
    • Project: choose an existing project or create a new one to store the results
    • Credits: the app confirms your balance is sufficient
    • Start: LenseAI generates the images

Generation progress

Real-time tracking

A progress bar shows the percentage and elapsed time. The statuses:

  • Analyzing Product: AI garment analysis and prompt building
  • Generating Image: the on-model render
  • Enhancing Quality: final refinements

You can cancel a running job. If something goes wrong, the app shows a clear message with guidance on how to continue.

Results

  • When the job completes, you're taken to the project page automatically.
  • Generated images are available immediately.
  • Downloads in multiple formats and resolutions. The resolution depends on your plan.

Accessibility and reliability

  • Screen-reader labels, keyboard navigation, visible focus states
  • Your progress is preserved across sessions.
  • Clear error messages and safe retries.
