General Liability Framework

As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages according to general laws in accordance with Section 7, Paragraph 1 of the TMG (German Telemedia Act). According to Sections 8 to 10 of the TMG, however, as a service provider we are not obligated to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information according to general laws remain unaffected by this. However, liability in this regard is only possible from the time we become aware of a specific legal violation. Upon becoming aware of corresponding legal violations, we will remove such content immediately.

AI-Generated Content Specific Provisions

Our platform generates synthetic content using artificial intelligence technology trained exclusively on our own proprietary datasets. Users acknowledge that:

AI-generated content may not qualify for copyright protection under German law (Section 2 UrhG) and may be considered public domain

While our models are trained on controlled, proprietary data, the synthetic nature of AI-generated content means we cannot guarantee absolute uniqueness of every output

We do not guarantee the originality, uniqueness, or intellectual property status of generated content for the user's specific commercial purposes

Users are solely responsible for verifying the appropriate use of any AI-generated content for their intended applications

Controlled Training Data

Our AI models are trained exclusively on proprietary datasets that we own or have licensed appropriately. This controlled approach minimizes but does not eliminate the possibility of generated content resembling third-party works through coincidence or common visual elements inherent in product photography.

User Responsibilities

Users are fully responsible for:

Ensuring their use of AI-generated content complies with applicable laws and their specific business requirements

Understanding the public domain nature of most AI-generated content under current German copyright law

Verifying that their intended use of generated content is appropriate for their commercial purposes

Obtaining any additional permissions they may require for their specific use cases

Regulatory Compliance

We strive to comply with applicable regulations including the EU AI Act and related legislation. As AI regulation evolves, we may update our terms and technical measures accordingly.

Limitation of Liability

Users agree that Typelense's liability is limited to providing the AI content generation service as described. Users assume responsibility for the appropriateness and legal compliance of their use of generated content.
